Simple carbs contain sucrose, also known as refined sugar, lactose, known as milk sugar and fructose, or fruit sugar . The most dangerous to your health is the sucrose because it does not contain any nutrient. That's why the low carb diets should contain only trace amounts of lactose and fructose.
Complex carbs do not lose any nutrient, while they are being processed. Products that are representative for this type of carbohydrates are cereals, whole grain breads and raw veggies. In comparison with other foods, which lose their fiber and nutrients through processing, low carb diets based on complex carbs are healthier.
The products like cheese, fats, high protein meat, eggs, fish and nuts are contained in low carb diets. Even so, they must not be eaten in a high amount, but daily. Fruits and vegetables are also good, because they provide vitamins and minerals.
