These Keto Caesar fried chicken thighs are crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside and require almost no cooking time. This easy, low-carb chicken recipe will quickly become your new favorite for the holidays!

Even my husband and son, who hate vegetables, love Caesar salad, so we eat it often. Sometimes when we order we get a Caesar salad with grilled chicken on it, and I was thinking the other day that if you cooked those flavors into the chicken itself, it would be even better!

So I made these Keto Caesar fried chicken thighs, and not only were they super easy to make, but they tasted pretty good!

This Keto Caesar Fried Chicken is so easy to prepare, it’s hard to call it a recipe. But there are some important keys to success that should be mentioned here.

IMPORTANT: Use one of those premium Caesar dressings to give the chicken the best flavor when marinating. If the sauce itself is very tasty, your chicken will be too.

To be sure, I add a little spice to the sauce before marinating so you can taste it after it’s cooked in the chicken.

Another important tip is to let this baked Caesar chicken marinate for as long as possible, which will also enhance the flavors. Aim for at least 2 hours, but 24 to 36 hours would be good.

Ideally, you should marinate the night before your meal, but even if you marinate in the morning and cook in the evening after work, you should be able to enjoy the Caesar flavor.

Finally, I used chicken thighs in this low-carb chicken recipe, but you can also use drumsticks or breasts if you prefer. Reduce the cooking time for boneless breasts to 25 minutes (unless they are very large) so they don’t overcook or dry out.

  • 4 chicken legs (or other chicken parts)
  • 1/4 cup Caesar dressing
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder


  1. Combine Caesar dressing, lemon juice, salt, garlic and onion in a bowl and mix well.
  2. Add the chicken thighs and, if possible, rub the marinade over and under the skin.
  3. Marinate covered in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours and up to 36 hours.  When you’re ready to cook, preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  4. Place the chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  5. Cook for 60 minutes, or until the skin is crisp and the chicken is cooked through.  If using boneless, skinless breasts or thighs, the cooking time should be reduced to about 25 minutes or until the meat is no longer pink in the center or a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the meat reads 165 degrees.
  6. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.  For best results, eat them cold or heat them gently in the oven.
